The Reader QC Package is a powerful solution for validating microplate absorbance readers and microplate fluorometers. The Reader QC Package comes with a QC plate and QC software. The QC software is a robust single user database and stores information about all performed QC tests. Using MikroWin 2000 for the instrument control, data collection and analysis we offer a flexible, easy to use solution for checking the performance of your instrument.
The QC Plate has 4 narrow wells (A01, H01, A12, H12) to validate the position of the microplate. At all other blank wells, red fluorescent plexiglass is used, in order to generate different OD-values for different measurement filters. It has 4 neutral density filters (D06, D08, D10, D12) to validate the linearity of your instrument. A blank row (B), a blank column (02), a blank well (G05) surrounded by covered wells and a covered well (G08) surrounded by blank wells to check the repetition accuracy, the channels and the long term stability of your microplate photometer.
The QC Plate is measured 3 times to check the repetition accuracy of your instrument. Only the data of the first measurement is used to validate the position, the linearity, the long term stability and the channels of your instrument. To validate the long term stability of the measurements, MikroWin 2000 compares the current QC measurement data with the measurement data of the first performed QC test. | |
Due to the variances of microplate absorbance readers and microplate fluorometers the analysis of QC measurement data can be different. The Reader QC Package comes with a set of qc template files for your instrument. It’s an easy to use solution. Just insert the QC Plate into your microplate absorbance reader or microplate fluorometer and click Run to perform a QC test. The QC Database handles all readings and MikroWin 2000 handles the instrument control, data collection and analysis. The QC Database imports the QC results from MikroWin 2000 automatically. You can print a report for a peformed QC test:
